OG Baked Goods

Just around the corner from the hub in Warragul is one of our newest producers! Started by mother-daughter team Lynn & Carly, OG Baked Goods supply some extra special goodies, from bagels & English muffins through to croissants & hot crossed buns. Lynn is a long-time supporter and volunteer at the hub, and we were over the moon to be their first stockist in February this year!

Before starting their baked goods journey together, Lynn was happily retired and volunteering locally, and Carly was working as a midwife, eagerly expecting her first baby. Unfortunately little Olivia Grace passed away at one week of age, and mother and daughter decided to use their passion for baking to honour her name — and OG Baked Goods was born.

What does a day look like for you?

We rise early to make and bake our breads in the fantastic commercial food hub kitchen. We spend our days making dough, proving dough, baking dough... there's a lot of dough!

Why is local, fresh, organic food important to you?

It is very important to us to support local producers and use quality, organic ingredients wherever possible. Our values already aligned with the hub before starting OG, and we're so happy to be able to share our baking with the hub community

What have been some positive experiences dealing with the food hub?

The Baw Baw Food Hub is a welcoming, friendly place providing an amazing service to the community. We have felt so supported by everyone involved.
